Dog Training & Walking
Here at Cambridge Dog Services I can help dog owners to reconnect with their dog and build a better, stronger relationship using only positive reward-based training methods. I teach people and dogs, both in classes and private one to one training sessions. I also run a bespoke dog walking adventure service.
Are you bring home a new puppy? Would you like some advice about how to tackle common puppy problems, like toilet training, nipping and biting and settling our puppy into their new home? My private puppy training sessions will help you set your new puppy up for success.
Does your dog pull on the lead? Does your dog not come back when called? my private dog training sessions are tailored so that we find the right training plan for you and your dog or maybe my adult dog classes would suit you and your dog better, working on teaching your dog to be calm around other dogs in class and focusing on you.
Have you recently adopted a rescue dog? Would you like to help them settle into your home and work on building a strong bond? Then my rescue dog training sessions have got you covered.
Are you feeling guilty about leaving your dog home alone all day? My adventure dog walks could be the perfect solution!
What People Say
"Melissa's puppy classes were really helpful, she was patient and gave Rupert plenty of time to practice. It even knowing the classes are small in numbers so I felt we received lots of input and attention. It was particularly useful when Melissa came to our house to do bespoke training sessions with Rupert. This helped us tailor the training goals to our home, lives and his environment which proved to be a huge success! Rupert is now growing into a well mannered, socialised and well trained dog all thanks to the foundations of training practice which Melissa taught us. I would very much recommend Melissa to help with any puppy training or doggy queries in general - she was extremely kind and personable and Rupert loved her!"
