What is a Walk and Train Session?

This unique service is where a qualified dog trainer will take your dog out for a walk and train them to either walk nicely on a lead, improve your dog's recall or work on important impulse control skills such as leave it, stay when the door bell rings or stop jumping up at people passing by.

Have you been struggling with training your dog, even after getting a trainer to show you the ropes?
Often getting a walk and train trainer in to help you is the best way to see faster results. This is certenly not a poor reflection on you, we know that dog training takes a lot of effort, precise timing of rewards and consistency, and some dog owners just don't know where to start! This is where we can help. We can help offload and do all the hard work for you.

How does a Walk and Train Season work?
​
Each walk and train session is 45 minutes long. A qualified trainer will come to your home and take your dog from there. Whether it be to your local park to work on recall around distractions or around your local area for some loose lead training. (Most walk and train sessions will be held during the afternoons or early mornings before 9am)

The package we offer:
​
8 sessions - includes 2 walk and train sessions per week for 4 weeks. WhatsApp support for the duration of the training. After each session you will get short notes and video footage from the session. Small amount of homework to help with the progress of the training. The price also includes a handover session.

WhatsApp Support - Allows you to message me daily and send over videos of you training for feedback.
​
Handover Session - A 30 minute training session where you join us and we make sure you understand all the training and can apply it on walks.
